White Stag Tourism is owned and led by Yvonne Wagoun, a senior Business Development professional and Tourism Manager with over 27 years of experience in UK inbound tour operation. A specialist in product and key account management, she has a proven track record of consistently exceeding targets by strategic implementation of market analysis, product development and identification of client opportunities as well as new customer acquisition. Yvonne's experience and knowledge allows her to turn good businesses into great businesses by delivering growth nationally and internationally.
She believes that customer loyalty is the key to any good business practice, integrity and professional respect will lead to customers following your every step.
Yvonne started her tourism career in the Incentive Travel sector before moving to leisure tourism working for Travel Scot World - which later became Hotelbeds, part of TUI Travel plc - where she developed online as well as offline product and sales for the UK and European destinations.
In recent years Yvonne has successfully expanded product ranges for another industry great - award-winning Rabbie's Small Group Tours. Adding exclusive travel trade and innovative holiday experiences, realising a business potential which had not been tapped into before and making a remarkable and tangible difference to the bottom line.
Since starting White Stag Tourism in 2016, Yvonne has been working with many tourism businesses in Scotland and England as well as regional destination marketing organisation. Most recently she has been instrumental in putting the South of Scotland on the map, working with the SSDA in establishing the destination as an area worth driving to, not driving through.
Yvonne has particularly strong links to the German-speaking markets (she was born and raised in Bavaria) and the North American travel trade.
